I was born and raised in Paraguay, South America. My family background is German. In 2003 I came to Winnipeg to study Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba and I graduated with a BFA Honours in 2007 and a Bachelor of Education in 2010. I received several awards from the School of Art such as the Lynn Sissons Memorial Award (2006), the Heintz Jordan Printmaking Award (2006), and the Shanski Award in Fine Arts (2005). In 2008 and 2009 I received C Grants from the Winnipeg Arts Council and the Manitoba Arts Council. I have been part of numerous group shows as well as two solo shows in Winnipeg. Several of my pieces were bought by The Winnipeg Foundation and National Leasing. I currently reside in Minneapolis and continue making prints at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking.
